Established in Ravarino Italy in 1982 by Massimo Osti, notable art director, and Bolognese intellectual, Stone Island combines advanced experimentation and performance technology to create highly functional innovative collections. 
 
Italian in origin but notoriously integrated into the UK street style, subcultures of Stone Island were made famous by hooligan football firms and London’s Grime music scene. With its striking masculine aesthetic and military influence, seen in the iconic Stone Island patch inspired insignia, the brand eventually made its mark in streetwear in the US. Worn by A$AP Mob, Drake, and Travis Scott and memorable collaborations with Supreme: Stone Island has amassed a notable following.

 

In its lifetime the brand has created more than 40,000 garments; now led by Carlo Rivetti, CEO and creative director, Stone Island is industry leading in research and development. Revered for boundary-pushing technology by using innovative fabric and more than 60,000 dye recipes, the foundation laid by Osti continues to influence each design.
