COMME DES GARÇONS
Started in Tokyo by Rei Kawakubo, Comme des Garçons is a fashion brand known for their abundant use of the color black, patched fabrics, and unfinished seams. The name was inspired by the 1962 song “Tous les garçons et les filles” by Francoise Hardy, with the line “Comme des Garçons” translating to "like boys" in French. Today the brand is recognized for their avant-garde design, diffusion lines, collaborations, fragrances, parfums, candles and accessories.
