UNKNWN Celebrates Nike Air Max Day
In celebration of Nike Air Max Day, we teamed up with design collective New York Sunshine to create an installation located in the heart of Wynwood. The creation featured the eagerly anticipated Nike Air Max 1/97 'Collector's Dream' submerged in a cement-encased tank of water. Sean Wotherspoon’s Air Max 1/97 design won Nike’s RevolutionAir Design contest for Air Max Day 2017 and comes equipped with a retro color palette and corduroy material on its racing stripes.
Sneakerheads, by-passers, and loyal UNKNWN customers were able to check out the pop-up installation in the days leading up to Air Max Day on Monday, March 26, 2018.
